If you will be having a wedding where many of the guests are out of town, you might want to consider sending out a save the date post card that just serves as an announcement of your upcoming marriage. It will help these guests start planning and making it more likely that they will attend.

It is important for brides-to-be to stay calm during the wedding planning process. When getting married in the summer it's very important to keep the sun in mind! If your ceremony or reception will be outside, aim for a later start so that your guests aren't sitting in the noontime sun. Choose a location that has shade or use a tent to protect your guests.

Consider a buffet for your reception meal. A buffet will cost significantly less than a plated sit down meal. You also will not need to pay for servers to handle your dining experience. In addition, a buffet can offer more choices for your guest to enjoy.

Your wedding doesn't need to make the tabloids or be featured on a dozen different television networks. It only has to stand out as majestic for you and your loved ones.
